Overview

Development of a dual-module security management system consisting of a static (onsite) and patrol guard module. The system enabled real-time shift tracking, incident reporting, and route management through a mobile and web-based platform.

Goals

• Automate shift scheduling and guard activity tracking

Challenges

• Synchronizing two operational models (static and patrol) within a unified architecture
• Implementing tag-based attendance and incident tracking
• Ensuring secure authentication and encrypted data transfers
• Designing responsive and user-friendly interfaces for both admin and guards

Solution

We developed two integrated modules using React Native for the guard mobile apps and React with Tailwind for the admin web dashboard. The frontend was powered by Firebase Authentication and Firestore for real-time data updates. Tag scanning, PDF report generation, and timed notifications were implemented for guard check-ins and incident logging. Guards could upload images and notes, while admins had tools for filtering, reporting, and managing routes and personnel. Data transmission was encrypted, and WebSockets ensured real-time status updates.

• 80% reduction in manual reporting and shift coordination
